It is another twisty-turny murder mystery full of a lot of soapy fun stuff and scandal.

Television series

Shepard's Pretty Little LiarsThe Lying Game, The Perfectionists and The Heiresses book series have all been turned into a television series by Freeform (with the exception of the latter which airs on ABC). Pretty Little Liars and The Perfectionists were combined together for the television series. The Pretty Little Liars series of novels is "loosely based on her experiences growing up on Philadelphia's Main Line".

Pretty Little Liars, arguably the best series to date, ran for seven seasons. Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, and Sasha Pieterse starred as the main characters. They played Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, Aria Montgomery, and Sasha Pieterse respectively. Shepard had a cameo on Pretty Little Liars in episode seven of season one and in episode twenty-four of season five.

The Lying Game was canceled after its second season which aired in March of 2013. Alexandra Chando starred as the main two characters, Sutton Mercer and Emma Becker.

The Perfectionists was announced in late September 2017 as a full-on spin-off and continuation of Pretty Little Liars, with Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal as leading characters.

The Heiresses were announced a few days after The Perfectionists, set to star PLL lead actress Shay Mitchell. However, it was then announced by I. Marlene King that production had either halted or the show was in interim stages.
